Alexander Atkins is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles.
Raised in the Northwest, he earned his BFA and graduated with honors from Purchase College's Conservatory of Film in New York. Atkins’ Thesis Films enjoyed festival exhibition and awards in the United States and abroad. Men Who Don’t Work, his most recent short, was awarded Best Short Film from The Oregon Independent Film Festival (2012).
Atkins recently completed work as Line Producer on a feature length horror film and an international music video, and as Production Coordinator on a feature developed by one of the major studios. In addition to producing upcoming shorts and features, he directs and edits for the award winning web series, #nitTWITS.
